Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License
- Prior experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Adaptability and creativity in differentiating instruction
- Adept at building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ individual learning goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for effective inclusion
- Develop, monitor, and document progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adjust teaching strategies to meet a range of academic and behavioral needs
- Provide direct instruction in both small-group and one-on-one settings
- Partner with families to foster consistent support for students’ growth
- Ensure compliance with all special education policies, procedures, and timelines
