Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts Severe Disabilities (Moderate/Severe) Special Education certification
  • Proven experience working in substantially separate or intensive special education settings is highly preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
  • Exceptional classroom management abilities and a compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide daily instruction using evidence-based resources and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement accommodations and modifications tailored to meet students’ unique needs
  • Track and communicate student progress, contributing to team meetings and IEP reviews
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment
  • Collaborate with related service providers and paraprofessionals
