Desired Background:
- Massachusetts Severe Disabilities (Moderate/Severe) Special Education certification—required
- Previous experience in substantially separate or intensive special education settings preferred
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent classroom management and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instructional plans for students with significant needs
- Modify curriculum and adapt lessons to suit academic, behavioral, and social goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, aides, therapists, and family members
- Track and report on student progress; contribute to IEP development and review
- Foster positive, inclusive classroom dynamics
