You'll be working with a welcoming faculty from 7:05 AM to 2:05 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring each day is filled with meaningful engagement and positive student connections.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state requirements must be met)
  • Experience teaching or working with high school students in a special education setting
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and inclusive classroom practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to fostering an equitable learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote academic and social growth
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
  • Create a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom climate that encourages student independence
