Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience with elementary or intermediate caseloads (Life Skills and/or behavioral support)
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience managing small group instruction and IEP implementation
  • Ability to work full time; immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to diverse learning needs (Behavioral and Life Skills)
  • Develop and execute IEPs, collaborating with staff and families
  • Manage a caseload of 4-5 students per assignment, ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade, or high school life skills (if qualified)
  • Track student progress, document outcomes, and adapt instruction as needed
  • Be open to extending your assignment through multiple leaves if desired
