We're seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 26/27 school year, offering a chance to make a real impact in both Inclusion and Sub Separate classroom settings across K-12 levels. This is a contract-based opportunity, ideal for educators who thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to supporting diverse learners.

Currently, there is an immediate need for Sub Separate Special Education Teachers, including those experienced in working with students on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) or with social-emotional needs. You’ll work in a supportive atmosphere alongside 2-3 dedicated paraprofessionals and benefit from direct collaboration with experienced supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (K-12 or relevant endorsement)
• Prior experience or coursework in either Inclusion or Sub Separate classroom models
• Background working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or social-emotional challenges is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, adaptive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse student needs
• Manage and adapt curriculum to support students in both inclusion and sub separate settings
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, support staff, and related service providers
• Foster a positive, structured class environment that encourages growth and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with all requirements
