With roles focused on both K-12 Inclusion as well as specialized sub-separate positions (including ASD and Social Emotional programs), there’s an opportunity to match your passion and expertise.

These classrooms are designed for collaboration: you’ll work closely with 2-3 paras, supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers to ensure every student receives comprehensive support. By fostering a positive and structured environment, your work will help set students up for success, both academically and emotionally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
  • Certified or eligible for certification as a Special Education Teacher
  • Experience with K-12 students in both inclusion and/or sub-separate settings preferred
  • Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Dedication to supporting students with ASD, behavioral, or social-emotional needs is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team—working closely with paraprofessionals, BCBAs, and social workers
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and update IEP goals
  • Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture
  • Adapt curriculum and strategies to address diverse learning profiles
  • Communicate proactively with families and staff regarding student development
