Inspire and support young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher in a rewarding full-time contract position north of Denver. This opportunity places you at the heart of a collaborative school community, where your dedication and compassion will help shape the educational journey for a class of approximately 12 students. Working in a focused and nurturing environment, you will make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Special Education Teaching Certification (Early Childhood focus preferred)
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting preschool or early elementary-aged children with special needs
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices in special education
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Passion for early childhood education and ability to adapt to varied learning styles

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with related service providers, classroom assistants, and family members
  • Use evidence-based teaching strategies to support cognitive, social, and emotional growth
  • Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates regularly
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development opportunities, and team planning sessions
  • Cultivate a positive, supportive, and structured classroom to empower every learner
