What You'll Bring:

• Active Special Education licensure from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary students requiring significant support
• Understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ability to tailor instruction
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability and compassion for creating an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities Include:

• Teaching and supporting a caseload of students with significant needs (SSN)
• Designing and implementing instructional plans aligned with each student’s IEP
• Maintaining thorough documentation of student progress and needs
• Working closely with other educators, therapists, and school staff
• Fostering a safe and encouraging classroom community
• Engaging families in their child’s educational journey
• Participating in school meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
