This contracted position runs from August 20, 2026, to June 3, 2027, and offers a consistent Tuesday to Friday schedule—giving you long weekends every week. Located onsite, you will work closely with a mild to moderate caseload, making a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid CDE Special Education (SPED) licensure required
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals and individual needs
- Collaborate with general educators, administrators, and families to ensure student success
- Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Adapt teaching methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Promote social, emotional, and academic growth within a mild to moderate caseload
Role Details:
- Contract position, Tuesday through Friday (no school Mondays)
- 34 hours per week, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Single position, onsite assignment
