What You'll Bring:
- Active Special Education licensure from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary students requiring significant support
- Understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ability to tailor instruction
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and compassion for creating an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere
Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching and supporting a caseload of students with significant needs (SSN)
- Designing and implementing instructional plans aligned with each student’s IEP
- Maintaining thorough documentation of student progress and needs
- Working closely with other educators, therapists, and school staff
- Fostering a safe and encouraging classroom community
- Engaging families in their child’s educational journey
- Participating in school meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
