This full-time position spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering direct collaboration with a dedicated team of educators and specialists.

In this onsite role, you'll work closely with a diverse group of 10 students, supported by peer mentors, two full-time paraeducators, and additional professionals, including a BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and Psych/SW experts. Enjoy a structured weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, with time included for lunch breaks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required (please provide a copy with your application)
  • Minimum of one year classroom teaching experience
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and adaptability
  • Genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to special education students in a middle school setting
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture with the assistance of paraeducators and peer mentors
  • Collaborate with related service providers (e.g., BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, Psych/SW) to ensure holistic student support
  • Regularly communicate with families and staff regarding student progress and needs
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant educational standards and documentation requirements
