Qualifications & Skills:
- Must hold valid CDE Special Education (SPED) licensure
- Prior experience with mild/moderate special needs caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Enthusiasm for providing individualized instruction and support
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide direct instruction to a mild/moderate caseload at Brantner Elementary
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and adjust strategies for goal achievement
- Communicate regularly with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
