Desired Experience and Requirements:
- Active CDE SPED (Special Education) licensure required
- Experience working with mild/moderate caseloads preferred
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide special education services to elementary students with mild/moderate needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
- Employ evidence-based teaching strategies to support student growth
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet students’ educational goals
- Maintain detailed records and ongoing communication regarding student progress
