Life Skills Special Education Teacher – Brock, TX

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is hiring a Life Skills SPED Teacher for a self-contained classroom supporting students with developmental and adaptive needs. This educator will focus on fostering independence, life-readiness, and social-emotional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Teach functional academics, communication, and daily living skills

• Design IEP-based interventions and routines to support behavioral needs

• Work closely with paraeducators, therapists, and parents

• Track student progress and manage documentation

• Establish a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Special Education Certification

• Experience in life-skills or high-support special education classrooms a plus

• Strong patience, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits:
? $38–$45/hour
