Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Special Education license for Severe Disabilities (Moderate/Severe)
- Prior experience working in substantially separate or intensive special education settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated strength in classroom management and fostering positive student engagement
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working closely with colleagues, specialists, and families
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to unique student needs
- Adapt curriculum and instruction for students with complex learning profiles in a substantially separate classroom
- Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Deliver instruction and classroom activities that support academic, social, and life skills development
- Participate actively in school-based team meetings and professional development
