Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Special Education license for Severe Disabilities (Moderate/Severe)
  • Prior experience working in substantially separate or intensive special education settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated strength in classroom management and fostering positive student engagement
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working closely with colleagues, specialists, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to unique student needs
  • Adapt curriculum and instruction for students with complex learning profiles in a substantially separate classroom
  • Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Deliver instruction and classroom activities that support academic, social, and life skills development
  • Participate actively in school-based team meetings and professional development
