Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience working with K-12 students requiring special education services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students

• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to support students’ inclusion and success
• Regularly assess student progress and adapt strategies as needed
• Communicate with parents and guardians to share updates and involve them in their child’s education
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
