Qualifications:

• Valid NY State Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement
• Previous experience or interest in Early Intervention (ages 2-3)
• Open to starting part time and growing to full time as program expands
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to young learners in a classroom of 10 children (with each child supported by a 1:1 teacher’s assistant)
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create an engaging, supportive environment
• Participate in the development and growth of the school’s Early Intervention program
• Commit to a 12-month assignment
