What You'll Need:

• Current Missouri Special Education Teacher certification
• Prior experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including writing, implementing, and progress monitoring
• Ability to manage classroom responsibilities in self-contained, inclusion, or co-teaching environments
• Strong work ethic, demonstrated growth mindset, and a consistently positive, flexible attitude
• Commitment to upholding all duties and best practices of a Special Education Teacher in supporting students, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging families

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction adapted to each student's IEP goals across a range of settings (self-contained, inclusion, resource, co-teaching)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success and inclusion
• Create and maintain records, assessments, and progress monitoring documentation in compliance with all guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement
