What You’ll Need:

• Active Connecticut Special Education Teacher Certification for Grades 9–12
• Provisional licenses are not accepted
• Experience working with mild to moderate populations is preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct instruction and targeted interventions as guided by student IEPs
• Foster an inclusive classroom climate and work within resource settings
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and support staff to meet student needs
• Track student growth, document progress, and modify instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Encourage student independence, engagement, and confidence in their learning journey
