Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Education (CDE SPED) licensure required
• Experience working with students requiring significant support needs (SSN), preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Passion for fostering an inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, individualized instruction to elementary students with significant support needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and interventions
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
• Create a positive, structured, and welcoming classroom environment

Position Details:

• Contract term: August 20, 2026 – June 3, 2027
• 34 hours per week (Tuesday through Friday; no school on Mondays)
• Onsite at a supportive elementary school
• Manage a caseload focusing on significant support needs
