Special Education Teacher | Broomfield, Colorado

Make a lasting impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students with mild to moderate needs in a vibrant school community near Broomfield, CO. This contract opportunity begins August 20, 2026 and runs through June 3, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 34 hours, Tuesday through Friday (with Mondays off!). Each day starts at 7:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm, giving you structured time to connect and foster growth in your students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid CDE Special Education Teacher licensure
• Experience or passion for working with elementary students in a school setting
• Knowledge of best practices for supporting students with varying exceptionalities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Dedication to creating inclusive and positive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Assess student progress and modify interventions as needed
• Communicate effectively with school personnel and families regarding student needs and goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
