Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Colorado CDE Special Education Teacher license (required)
• Experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with general education staff, parents, and specialized teams
• Commitment to individualized instruction, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Ability to create a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere fostering learning and growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted special education services to assigned students in elementary grades
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies to ensure success
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning experiences
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training relevant to the field of special education

Position Details:

• Onsite role serving Brantner Elementary’s special education caseload
• Work Tuesday through Friday (no school Mondays), 34 hours per week, 7:30AM – 4:30PM
• Contract duration: August 20, 2026 – June 3, 2027
