Special Education Teacher | Broomfield, Colorado

This full-time, contract opportunity runs from February 2027 through early May 2027 with a resource caseload at the high school level. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license in Special Education (CDE license or COOL must accompany your resume; interviews will not be scheduled without it)
• Minimum of one year classroom experience required
• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability within a multidisciplinary team
• High level of professionalism, organization, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a resource caseload of high school students, delivering individualized instruction and interventions
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Collect data and document student progress, making timely adjustments to instruction based on student needs
• Participate fully in team meetings, student evaluations, and parent conferences
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture that values all learners
• Uphold compliance and best practices within all state and federal guidelines
