Special Education Teacher in Buda, TX

Step into a pivotal role supporting elementary learners as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is located near Buda, TX, and focuses on foundational life skills for EC-6 students in a small classroom setting. You'll have the rewarding chance to shape the educational journey of five students, including two who require more functional support.

Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing for a balanced professional routine.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Educator License with Special Education and Core/Generalist endorsements
• Proven Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) experience, including comfort contributing during meetings
• Familiarity with foundational and life-skills curriculum for EC-6 students
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies for a range of support needs
• Commitment to upholding dress code policy: professional attire, limited piercings, natural hair colors, and covered tattoos

• Develop and implement individualized education plans aligned with students’ needs
