What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with students in behavior programs (CORE) or lifeskills/structured learning classrooms is highly valued
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction abilities
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and support teams
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine desire to foster student growth and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a range of learning needs
• Provide differentiated instruction across core academic and behavior/lifeskills-focused curricula
• Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff, therapists, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student
• Maintain accurate documentation, tracking student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to support continuous growth
