Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Arizona or eligible for reciprocity
• Demonstrated expertise working with high school age students with diverse learning needs
• In-depth understanding of the IEP process, documentation, and compliance requirements
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to participate in IEP meetings before or after regular school hours
• Passion for supporting student growth and adapting instruction to reach individual goals

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering high-quality instruction tailored to each student’s IEP and unique needs
• Developing, implementing, and modifying lesson plans based on ongoing assessment
• Maintaining accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documents
• Coordinating with general education staff and related service providers
• Leading or contributing to IEP meetings and fostering family engagement
• Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed
• Maintaining professional standards throughout the duration of the contract

Your schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, providing a balanced workweek. Caseloads are still being finalized as pre-registration continues, ensuring assignments that fit each educator’s strengths and expertise.
