Exciting opportunities are available for contract Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year near Burbank, IL. Two immediate openings exist: one for a Kindergarten instructional caseload and one for a 1st Grade instructional caseload. What we’re looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience or strong interest in early childhood or elementary special education
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to meet individualized student needs
• Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families
• Dedication to fostering positive, inclusive classrooms
• Problem-solving mindset and flexibility in a dynamic school setting

In this important role, you will:

• Deliver evidence-based instruction to students on your assigned caseload
• Plan, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assess student growth and adapt teaching strategies for optimal learning
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff
• Engage with families regarding progress, goals, and educational plans
• Maintain accurate records and comply with special education regulations
