This contract special education teaching opportunity offers several openings across elementary and secondary settings, serving students with a variety of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, and Early Childhood Special Education. Positions are full-time, on-site, and run from ASAP through June 11, 2026, with roles available in structured, resource, and homebound settings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
  • Experience serving students with Autism, DCD, ASD/DCD, or in Early Childhood Special Ed preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong collaboration skills for working across multidisciplinary teams and with families
  • Adaptability and commitment to meeting varied student needs

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing targeted instruction and behavioral support to students on a caseload ranging from 4 to 19
  • Managing classroom or itinerant schedules as assigned (caseload specifics and locations provided following application)
  • Creating inclusive learning environments compliant with state and federal regulations
  • Monitoring student progress, maintaining thorough documentation, and communicating effectively with parents and staff
  • Consulting on and delivering homebound services as needed in various locations
  • Participating in professional development and team meetings
