Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education (SPED) licensure
- OR a General Education PELSB License T2–T4 with relevant special education experience (out-of-field form required)
- Experience supporting elementary students in special education settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and positive student outcomes
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct instructional support to elementary students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to facilitate success
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with general educators, fellow special education staff, and parents to maximize student growth
- Create a welcoming, structured classroom environment tailored to individual abilities
