Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and current ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) licensure required
  • Previous experience working with students with ASD strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and specialized instructional strategies
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse needs and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and implement intensive programming for students with ASD
  • Assess students’ strengths and needs to develop, modify, and carry out effective IEPs
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support
  • Track student progress, adjust teaching strategies as needed, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that encourages growth and independence
  • Provide guidance, encouragement, and advocacy to help each student reach their fullest potential
