Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement or certification
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate all learning styles and abilities
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and colleagues

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student success
• Maintain regular, open communication with families regarding student growth and needs
• Support and advocate for students both inside and outside the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in crafting effective educational plans
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and current research in special education
