Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid Special Education teaching license for the state of Minnesota
• Previous classroom experience working with students with disabilities or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and familiarity with various instructional strategies
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general educators, related service providers, support staff, and families
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and track individualized educational plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ abilities and learning styles
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to promote academic, social, and emotional growth
• Coordinate and lead IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with all regulations and thorough documentation
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families and stakeholders about student progress and strategies for success
