Special Education Teacher | Burnsville, Minnesota

Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students as an experienced Special Education Teacher specializing in physical and health disabilities. This contract position offers the opportunity to positively impact learning across multiple school sites, working with an inclusive and professional team from August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

You’ll play a key role as an itinerant support provider, offering expert consultation to classroom teachers and staff, and ensuring a welcoming, accessible environment for students with physical and health challenges.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minnesota SPED licensure with Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement required
• Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs in a school setting
• Background collaborating with occupational and physical therapists and gen-ed teachers
• Strong assessment skills: conducting functional evaluations and progress monitoring
• Ability to adapt curriculum and environment using assistive technology for K-12 students
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
