Key Qualifications:

• Current state certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Knowledge of special education laws and compliance procedures

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create, review, and modify IEPs to address student goals and progress
• Deliver specialized instruction in individual, small group, and inclusive classroom settings
• Assess student abilities, monitor growth, and document academic and behavioral progress
• Consult and collaborate regularly with general educators, therapists, administrators, and families
• Implement behavioral intervention plans, accommodations, and assistive technology as needed
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and support positive classroom environments
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
