Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid teaching certification in Special Education

• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
• Effective communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adjust instructional methods to meet individual educational goals
• Positive, patient, and adaptable approach to challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster an inclusive classroom culture promoting student engagement and achievement
• Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Track and document student progress, modifying techniques as needed
• Use evidence-based practices and creative resources to adapt lessons suited to varied learning abilities
• Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
