Qualifications:

• Current and active Minnesota teaching license is required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally working with K–12 students
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a range of learning needs
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and deliver specially designed instruction for students with diverse learning needs
• Manage caseload and ensure all IEPs are current, compliant, and student-centered
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain open communication with families and work alongside them toward student goals
• Track student progress, assess outcomes, and report on growth and areas for continued intervention
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages self-advocacy and independence
