This contract position involves working with a diverse range of learners across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels—from K-5 through grades 6-8 and up to 9-12. You’ll play a key role in shaping individualized learning experiences and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience supporting students in grades K-12 (K-5, 6-8, and 9-12)
• Solid understanding of IEP development and compliance
• Strong communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Adaptability and patience in managing diverse learning needs

Your responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and support staff to modify instruction and ensure inclusion
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward goals
• Provide direct instruction, social-emotional guidance, and behavioral support
• Communicate proactively with families to engage them in student growth
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
