Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota teaching credential with one of the following special education licenses:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Developmental Disabilities
- Early Childhood
- Emotional Behavioral Disorders
- Learning Disabilities
- Academic & Behavioral Strategist (ABS license optional but welcome)
- Proven expertise with behavior strategies and individualized behavior plans
- Demonstrated strong instructional skills and problem-solving abilities
- Track record of reliable attendance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow special and general educators, as well as paraprofessionals
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and behavioral support for students in resource and center-based programs
- Adhere to established classroom routines and structures
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
