Special Education Teacher - Bushkill, PA

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold an active Special Education Teacher certification in Pennsylvania
• Experience or strong interest in working with early childhood students (ages 3–5)
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, therapists, and staff
• Ability to adapt strategies to the evolving needs of each learner
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of a growing caseload
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for young learners
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly
• Establish engaging, nurturing classroom routines for children new to structured learning
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure continuity of care and growth
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and best practices in Special Education
