Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience developing and delivering Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with a range of instructional strategies and accommodations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver customized instruction for students with a variety of learning challenges
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement
• Adapt lessons and materials to meet individual student goals and learning styles
• Regularly assess students’ progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Partner with general education teachers, support personnel, and parents to ensure student success
• Participate in professional development activities and school meetings
