An opportunity for a Massachusetts-certified Special Education Teacher is available in an elementary school setting located near North Billerica, MA. This contract position supports 3rd-grade students through a blend of inclusion support and pull-out instruction, focusing on providing individualized educational experiences. The role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 16, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to 3rd-grade students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion in the classroom.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in both pull-out and inclusive settings.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Massachusetts Special Education certification required.
- Experience working with elementary-age students, specifically at the 3rd-grade level.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, inclusion strategies, and instructional techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
Work Schedule and Location:
- 6.5-hour school day, Monday through Friday.
- 32.5 hours per week full-time equivalent.
- Located in the Cambridge/North Billerica area of Massachusetts.
