This full-time opportunity, set in a vibrant school environment, is ideal for experienced Special Education Teachers ready to support second and third grade learners with developmental delays or intellectual impairments. The position is onsite, working from 8:00AM to 2:30PM, and offers continuity through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts teaching license or certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities
  • Previous school-based experience required
  • Demonstrated success working with students who have developmental delays or intellectual impairments
  • CORI background check and fingerprinting required (a letter of suitability from a prior employer may fulfill this requirement)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized instructional plans to meet students' unique needs
  • Modify curriculum and adapt teaching methods to ensure access to learning
  • Foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to optimize support for each student
  • Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education

This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 25, 2026. Candidates will complete a virtual interview as part of the hiring process.
