Special Education Teacher in Camp Hill, PA

What you bring:

• Current and active Pennsylvania teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students with diverse needs
• Ability to adapt instruction for various educational and behavioral challenges
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility regarding caseloads and grade levels (preferences will be considered during screening)
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitor academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Promote a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with PA state regulations and school policies
• Participate in meetings and professional development to enhance teaching practice
