What we’re looking for:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Educator Certification (PA SPED Educator Cert)
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum, preferably in a school or specialized setting
• Strong understanding of special education best practices, IEP development, and behavior management
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with colleagues, administrators, and families
• Adaptability, patience, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learning styles and needs

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in the Autistic Support classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
• Employ differentiated instructional strategies and behavior interventions to promote student success
• Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to maintain consistency and positive progress
• Collect and analyze student data to inform instructional decisions and document growth
• Contribute to a nurturing, supportive classroom climate that values diversity and inclusion
