Both roles are conveniently located within easy reach of the Pittsburgh metro area, and each position features a full-time, school-year schedule through June 2027.

• Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Start date: Immediate
• End date: 6/3/2027

Open Positions:

1. Middle School (Grades 6–8) Pull-Out Resource Teacher

   • Focus: Supporting students with Autism and Emotional Needs
   • Hours: 7:55am–3:55pm
   • Foster a nurturing classroom providing targeted instruction for a specialized caseload

2. High School (Grades 9–12) Co-Teaching in Social Studies & ELA

   • Focus: Learning Support caseload
   • Hours: 7:35am–3:35pm
   • Collaborate in general education settings to provide differentiated instruction

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Instructional I or II Special Education Certification in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Previous experience in resource/pull-out or co-teaching environments is highly appreciated
• Passion for supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral growth of adolescents
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilize a range of instructional strategies and accommodations
• Track and document student progress
• Consult effectively with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
