Special Education Teacher - Canton, MI

What we're looking for:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience with middle school students, especially within resource program settings, is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and educational staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Ability to adapt instruction and accommodations to meet individual student needs

In this role, you will:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with varying abilities
• Develop and execute IEPs in coordination with the educational team
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all special education regulations
