Special Education Teacher | Canton, Michigan

Three passionate Special Education Teachers are needed to provide dedicated instruction and support for students at the early elementary, middle, and high school levels. You’ll join a collaborative environment where your expertise and attention make a true difference each day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (please submit proof of certification)
• Demonstrated experience or enthusiasm for working with diverse learners or students with disabilities
• Adaptable teaching approach to accommodate individualized education plans
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students’ unique learning needs and IEP requirements
• Collaborate with fellow educators, families, and related service providers
• Employ positive behavioral supports and differentiated teaching strategies
• Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create an environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic development for all students

This position offers full-time hours with the stability of a school-year contract, serving students and making a meaningful impact. Each of the three roles will focus on a specific caseload: early learning elementary, middle school, or high school, providing the chance to contribute where your strengths shine brightest.
