Qualifications & Skills Desired:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience or passion for working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, at either the elementary or middle school level
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and intervention to meet each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment to encourage growth, learning, and confidence
• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans and activities
• Collaborate on IEP teams, maintaining strong communication with parents and staff
• Track student progress, complete documentation, and participate in ongoing meetings and professional development
