What We're Looking For:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K-3rd grade students or similar age group
• Solid understanding of IEP process and special education law
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Adaptability and creativity in developing instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with students’ IEP goals
• Provide direct instruction and support in both small groups and one-on-one settings
• Track and document student progress and maintain thorough records
• Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive learning experiences
• Utilize a variety of resources and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss progress and address concerns
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as required
