Available Positions and Requirements:

• Life Skills Teacher

  • Moderate Intervention certification required
  • Hours: 7:20 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
  • Responsible for a caseload of approximately 10–15 students

• Structured Teach (Autism Support) Teacher

  • Mild Intervention certification required
  • Hours: 8:20 a.m. – 4:10 p.m.
  • Responsible for a caseload of approximately 10–15 students

Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education with relevant endorsement (Moderate or Mild Intervention)
• Previous experience supporting students with disabilities, particularly in Life Skills or autism-focused classrooms
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ abilities and needs
• Foster a structured and encouraging classroom environment for students
• Utilize evidence-based practices for supporting students with moderate disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
• Collaborate regularly with other educators, therapists, and families to enhance student outcomes
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
