Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher credentials in Missouri
• Demonstrated experience with K-12 students
• Previous background in developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to serve in either Self-contained or Resource classrooms
• Strong work ethic and commitment to student growth
• Positive attitude with an eagerness to foster an inclusive learning setting

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Instruct and support students across varying abilities within Resource or Self-contained settings
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to support student achievement
• Maintain clear and open communication with families regarding student progress and goals
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learner needs
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive team culture
