Qualifications:

  • Valid certification in Special Education with an Emotional Impairment endorsement
  • Experience working with students with emotional impairments preferred
  • Ability to manage a classroom with up to 8 students and a caseload of 12 (some shared with local high schools)
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide targeted instruction and behavioral supports for students with emotional impairments
  • Work with paraeducator support staff in the classroom
  • Collaborate with high school partners and local educators
  • Maintain accurate records and track student progress
