Key Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina Special Education Teacher License (Multi-categorical or equivalent required certifications)
  • Experience working with students in special settings, including self-contained, moderate needs, and co-teaching resource environments
  • Flexibility to thrive in elementary, middle, high, and preschool age groups
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptable problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to reliably work onsite across varied school locations

Role Highlights:

  • Elementary, middle, high, and preschool positions available; opportunities for both full-time (35–37.5 hours/week) and part-time (18–20 hours/week) involvement
  • Serve students in settings ranging from self-contained, moderate classrooms to co-taught resource rooms
  • Responsibilities include lesson planning, IEP implementation, classroom management, and personalizing instructional support
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to maximize student growth
