Seeking passionate Special Education professionals for contract opportunities supporting a range of students from preschool through high school for the upcoming academic year. Positions are available across multiple educational settings, from moderate and self-contained classrooms to co-taught resource rooms, with both full-time and part-time schedules. Onsite presence is preferred to foster hands-on collaboration and student engagement; virtual options may be considered as the start date approaches.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License
- Multi-categorical or relevant credentials required for SPED teaching assignments
- Previous experience in diverse special education environments (elementary, middle, high school, or preschool)
- Proven ability to support students in both resource and self-contained classroom environments
- Flexibility to work across various grade levels and adapt to student needs
- Skilled in collaborative teaching and working within inclusive classroom models
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction in accordance with IEPs in classroom settings
- Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff to implement inclusive educational strategies
- Contribute to student assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Foster an encouraging, student-focused environment that promotes learning and growth
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress
