Essential Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching license with special education endorsement
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
• Adapt curriculum materials and techniques to meet a variety of learning needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain detailed documentation
• Address behavioral and academic challenges using positive intervention strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for students’ best interests
